Certain AP Scores For FCPS Schools By Free/Reduced Meals Categories

Click HERE to download a spreadsheet that examines the differences in AP test scores between the 2002-2003 and 2009-2010 school years for "core" AP courses. It is divided into schools based on schools' Free/Reduced Meal percentages.

Here are the FRM categories and schools:

• High FRM Schools: Falls Church HS, Hayfield SS, West Potomac HS
• Medium FRM Schools: Centreville HS, Chantilly HS, Fairfax HS, Herndon HS, Lake Braddock SS, South County SS, West Springfield HS, Westfield HS
• Low FRM Schools: Langley HS, Madison HS, McLean HS, Oakton HS, Woodson HS

The "core" AP courses are:

• World History -- 10th grade
• U.S. History -- 11th grade
• English Language & Composition -- 11th grade
• English Literature & Composition -- 12th grade
• Government & Politics:  Comparative -- 12th grade*
• Government & Politics:  U.S. -- 12th grade*

* These are the two tests that students who enroll in the AP Combined United States and Comparative Government course may choose to take.  They must choose at least one of the two tests and may take both.
