FEC Official Statement on Full Day Kindergarten Implementation

FEC supports expeditious implementation of full-day Kindergarten in the remaining 37 (out of 139) elementary schools. FEC respectfully recommends that Fairfax County School Board and FCPS staff fulfill its commitment to full-day Kindergarten, beginning in FY 2012 before implementing new programs or expanding other existing programs. FEC strongly believes that full-day Kindergarten is critical for the education of all children.
